Our Therapy Services - Women’s Therapy in the GTA - Online Across Ontario
My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, with the goal of helping you feel heard, understood, and less alone in what you’re going through. Sessions are a space where you don’t have to have the “right words” or explain everything perfectly—we’ll take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Some sessions may focus on talking through what’s been feeling overwhelming or stressful, while others may be more about building practical coping tools and strategies to help with day-to-day challenges. The goal is always to help you feel more steady, confident, and able to manage what’s going on in your life.
In-person sessions take place in a quiet, comfortable, and easily accessible office where you can feel at ease. Virtual sessions are also available across Ontario, offering flexibility and comfort in choosing where you feel most supported.
I work with teens navigating anxiety, stress, friendship and school challenges, self-esteem, and life transitions. My focus is on creating a space where you feel safe to talk, understood without judgment, and supported as you figure things out.

Approaches we Use in Teen Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - Focuses on understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected, and building practical tools to shift patterns that aren’t working.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) - Helps your brain process and heal from distressing or stuck experiences so they feel less overwhelming and no longer hold the same emotional intensity.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) - Supports you in managing intense emotions, building coping skills, and finding balance between acceptance and change.
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) - Helps you better understand, process, and express your emotions so you can feel more connected to yourself and others.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) - Explores the different “parts” of you with curiosity and compassion, helping you create more inner balance and self-understanding.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) - Helps you gradually face fears or intrusive thoughts while learning to reduce compulsive responses, so they feel less powerful and take up less space in your life.
Teen Therapy FAQ’s
-
If you're experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, or stress, struggling with interpersonal relationships, facing major life changes, or finding it difficult to cope with daily challenges, psychotherapy may be beneficial. Additionally, if your thoughts and emotions significantly impact your daily functioning, seeking the support of a therapist can be a valuable step toward improvement.
-
Most major insurance companies provide coverage for psychotherapy. While we aren’t able to bill insurance companies directly, you will be provided with a receipt following each session that can be used for prompt reimbursement.
-
A therapy session is one hour. The frequency of sessions depends on the individual's needs and goals, with many clients attending weekly initially and then adjusting based on progress. Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to determine the most effective schedule.
